Happy Thanksgiving, y'all. I'm totally not having turkey tonight because I'm a weirdo, but I'll be enjoying myself immensely nonetheless. I'm slightly less exhausted, my Papa is doing better, I'm counting my blessings.

Okay. So I currently work 8 days a week and am drawing and painting until my arms start feeling numb. But it's all good! Should have at least one new color piece out soon, but in the meantime, purpletophat.com has been updated with 4 sketch prints (there are nipples go see XD) and I've linked more peeps.

We are two years old!
...or least, PurpleTopHat.com is today! Two years ago, doortoriver and I launched the website, and I haven't looked back. It's been a wonderful journey so far, both frustrating and extremely rewarding, and I wouldn't have done it any other way. So I've been completely out of touch lately. I wish I could blame work, but the truth is, the past couple of weeks have been filled with weird health scares. Namely, I thought I was going blind in one eye. My left eye turned really red for a couple of days (all that with weird, cloudy vision...) and I took myself to the doctor. Little things that have made my day.
I've been getting more encouraging emails from pth.com's visitors of late, and it's been tickling me pink. I've even gotten messages from people who had come to see my show at Enchanted Deva's while I was already gone, and although I know it's only a beginning and it's not such big a deal in the grand scheme of things...I am so very psyched by it ( Read more... )
